Teknikker

Her ovenpå lægges le

rfarver i flere forskellige lag af

farvenuancer.

farvefladerne. Efter farvelægning glittes

poleres

overfladen med blankslebne sten.

De keramiske arbejder brændes højt, mellem 1100-1250 ́C.

I am focused on a tight shape with clean architectonically lines

I create ornamented surfaces with an eye for details
I am using an experimental approach - playing with a variety of shapes and  structures in the development of my artist practice
I am searching for an aesthetic balance that aims  to evoke a feeling of a quietness and a meditative state of mind
I am showing you lidded jars, pots, bowls, dishes, glasses and cups
stoneware, finely hatched surface - scratched in the rough surface
The tough contours of his work, which consists of platters, bowls and both tall and small lidded jars,  are covered with various layers of thin slib.
In each unique piece I have scratched irregular lines and patterns.   - short and long lines which lends the surface an effect of very fine random inlay. (illussion/snyde øjet?).
Through this run straight bands, sometimes of a contrasting color (mere om farver).
I am fascinated by the different layers in the landscape which become visible through wind and water erosion.
I draw inspiration from objects of prehistorical ages from Egypt and Greece, from African musical instruments and sculptures (fetishes and anthropological surveys/undersøgelser+china)
